Grupo Modelo, which has won the title of top-selling importedbeer in the U.S. for the past 16 years, currently derives almost a third of its revenues from exports.
Although they do not produce their own brew, this pub has the biggest collection of beer in the country, with more than 50 types on tap including both local brews and imported beers.
More curious than where I saw the ad touting the streamlined bottle was the content and intent of the ad, which tries to convince beer-drinkers that the shape of the bottle is a worthwhile reason to give up other imported brews and come back to Heineken.
