The Intel-side co-principal investigator, Mei Chen, has been in research at Intel and elsewhere for more than a decade, and has most recently focused on detailed medical image analysis and visual-collection management and navigation.
It's sweet and simple: the camera captures the reflection of light on the user's eye, and image processing technology then calculates the user's viewing angle to allow for hands-free navigation on-screen.
