My mother wrote letters to my father in the summer she rode with the Freedom Riders, and you know, I think that even as she might have imagined such a moment, I don't know if she would have believed that it could occur in her lifetime.
And I don't know that she really, you know, I don't know that it is anything that she would remember very well.
The few occasions I saw her pause she would put a hand over her eyes, breathe in and out deeply, and that was when I would know she was exhausted.
But I still want to know what she would have said in that speech, if she was given the opportunity to talk.

"I think most of you who know me here would know that I never meant to hurt the city, " she told reporters.
She said that if AMs wanted to wait until Miss Jenkins was present "we would certainly support a delay so that she can be here and I know that Bethan would support that also".

More specifically I wanted to know whether she hoped the government would deliver on its pledge to offer a free vote on repealing the hunting ban in this Parliament.

And then also we agreed that for future episodes, it just works better all around, I would show her the script before I - you know, I would show her any script that had her scenes in it, and she could sort of (unintelligible) it and help me, you know, correct details and help with language and all sorts of things that can only make the strip better.
"As long as it doesn't leak in my bag I don't think anybody would know, " she laughed.
She said well you know what, I think what I would try and do is I'd work, I'd get an internship, I'd try again next year.
"I didn't think this would really happen, you know, " she said, inhaling deeply.
"Once it gets dark out there and the snow keeps falling and they have no air support, I don't know how effective they would be in that situation, " she told reporters.
"I don't think they would like the media to know where they are, " she said, adding that she feared for their safety.
"If you have an established business, are happy with your name and your customers and prospective customers know where to find you, then I would not see a business case for moving, " she said.
"But how I would have done it without the skills I learned on the course I don't know, " she says.
