Each of the software-controlled hydraulicrams can deliver a force of 20 tonnes, giving the rig the ability to mimic the effects of different types of train.
The front and rear cabs (5) are steered by hydraulicrams and a drive unit links the two halves so the rear trailer can be steered independently and is not simply dragged behind the front unit.
