She is supported by a charity called United Response which has installed video phone technology into a number of homes to assist people with daily living - helping tocompile shopping lists or advice on howto cook a basic meal.
The first step of the project was tocompile and document Mayangna names, knowledge and know how on natural history, harvesting techniques and use, as well as legends and myths, in Mayangna and Spanish.
