Wednesday 17th April: Leading music streaming service Deezer has launched its brand new app for Windows 8, with a fresh interface and a host of unique features.

That's not surprising as it's been among the few where the software giant has controlled "the whole widget" -- choosing the processor, designing the hardware, and developing not only the operating system and user interface, but a host of licensing standards, services and infrastructure supporting Xbox Live.

The new 12 Gbps specification will eventually allow the host system to decide how much power a storage device with the interface should use, allowing up 25 W. It will also allow atomic writes, which will improve system performance as well as providing more resilient system designs.

Additionally, the MX-1 comes equipped with a host of SLR-like features to optimize its operability, including advanced UI (user interface) functions, easy-to-access controls and in-body RAW data development.
