The folks in Boulder County, Colorado were unfortunately able to see this phenomenon play out first hand on December 4 at a public hearing regarding proposed land use regulations for oil and gas development that are under consideration by the Boulder County Board of Commissioners.
And the fact is, what we are hearing about tonight - or today, I'm sorry - is about a phenomenon that has been going on for about fourteen hundred years.
