Online retailers are particularly smart at this, and have given many established brick and mortar competitors a hard time with their ability to analyze consumer sentiment, take suitable action, and elicit positive recommendations from their enormous online audience.
And this one is a pet peeve of mine, specifically because I work with people that have gone to Phoenix and other places online and knowing what I went through at brick and mortar state school, there is no doubt in my mind that these people DID NOT work nearly as hard or learn and took the classes I had to.
