As a young adult I did own a Gamecube but I rarely played it, favoring the PS1 and especially the PS2 and the myriad PC games that kept coming out, from DOOM and Quake and other shooters on PC, to Diablo and the many uber-addictive strategy games and then Half-Life 2 and the rise of modern HD PC games, and finally the modern consoles.
