Our decision at GWSB to fund these mayoral fellowships reflects our belief that we must choose engagement over detachment, embedding the business school and its graduates in the community it serves.
Our Conversations on Creative Leadership series brings innovative community leaders such as Marin, Michael Kaiser of the Kennedy Center and Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake to GWSB to talk about the importance of creative leadership in civic life.
Their inspiration gives me hope that we can make a difference with On the Board in the lives of these women and in the lives of the many young women who have come to GWSB to learn about business and embark on a business career that values them as it values their male colleagues.
