Today was a remarkable one for the almost simultaneous appearance of Goldman Sachs CEO Lloyd Blankfein on CNBC and GaryCohn on Bloomberg from the IMF Conference in Japan.
He sat next to his right-hand man at Goldman, GaryCohn, and in the same section as the short-selling hedge fund manager Jim Chanos, Barclays chief executive Bob Diamond and Nasdaq head Bob Greifeld.
In a television interview Tuesday, Goldman executive GaryCohn said he had been in frequent touch with Mr. Doctoroff, but added he wanted more answers for how the company's data are stored and used at Bloomberg.
Earlier in the day GaryCohn praised Mario Draghi to the skies for the crisis management that prevented a meltdown in Europe that might have been worse than what took place in the US in 2008.
