Her majesty's arrival was marked by the live debut of The Commonwealth Band's "Sing, " a track written especially for the jubilee by GaryBarlow and Andrew Lloyd Webber.
And they were followed by Cole's band mate Kimberley Walsh, singer Ronan Keating and Take That star GaryBarlow - all three of whom were said to be "in agony".
This summer more than 11 million people travelled to Olympic and Paralympic events around the UK. Artists including GaryBarlow, Cliff Richard and Kylie entertained crowds at a concert to mark the Queen's Diamond Jubilee.
