First Great Western (FGW) announced on Tuesday it is cutting some announcements including one which tells passengers they cannot smoke, the location of standard and first class seating and 'mind the gap' at stations (where there is no gap).
The bottom line here is that our standard of living is sinking like a stone and the income gap from top to bottom is at a all time high and the percentage of rate vs. actual dollars in revenues paid is far in favor of the higher income brackets than the average wage earner.
