Gallianisaid there was no chance of English club Chelsea -- who appointed former Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti as manager on Monday -- swooping in to beat Real for Kaka's signature.
Milan vice-president Adriano Gallianisaid in June that Adebayor was his club's "sole transfer target" of the summer, although he later said the 2007 European champions could not afford the Togo striker.
Galliani had said earlier this week that talks over Shevchenko had stalled, with Milan wanting a loan deal but Chelsea only interested in a permanent transfer.
