This year, millions of small business owners will be eligible for tax credits that will help them cover the cost of insurance for their employees. (Applause.) This year, millions of small businesses will benefit.

We will ensure equal treatment for all service members, and equal benefits for their families - gay and straight. (Applause.) We will draw upon the courage and skills of our sisters and daughters and moms, because women have proven under fire that they are ready for combat.
It enabled them to blame their predecessors for the poverty there, and to receive applause for promising a better future.
The senators who were there offered their first round of applause and a standing ovation for the most senior Democrat, Robert Byrd of West Virginia, as he was made the new president pro-tempore, putting him third in line for the White House.
So I want to thank all the police officers who are here for giving their best efforts every single day. (Applause.) I want to thank Governor Hickenlooper for his outstanding leadership. (Applause.) I want to thank all the families who are here for your courage in being willing to take out of this tragedy something positive.

We're having a fight right now because I want to charge Wall Street a modest fee to repay taxpayers in full for saving their skins in a time of need. (Applause.) We want our money back. (Applause.) We want our money back.
