The person arrested in France is believed to have been one of eight robbers who sped onto the tarmac of the airport on the evening of Feb. 16 disguised as police and stole 120 packages of diamonds from a Fokker-100 jetliner bound for Zurich.
Mr Schrempp's lieutenants believe the Asia Express, in which the European consortium is to hold 39%, would be even less competitive than the now-defunct Fokker 100.
