In Israel, Solaris Synergy has developed a concentrated photovoltaic technology for a floatingfarm, which includes an innovative evaporation cooling technology called Aquasun that keeps the silicon elements at a low and stable temperature.
The first wind farm, with five floating turbines, will be completed by 2017 and a larger 500 megawatt farm (half the strength of a nuclear power plant) by 2020.
