The FAA plans to have a system whereby each aircraft in free flight has a satellite-linked probe that tells the pilot if another aircraft is within 20 miles.
The board also confirmed the right engine experienced a surge during a flight on January 13, and subsequent repairs included the replacement of a temperature probe.
