The result is global warming, or at least a lot of heat, judging from the continuing flap over a Wall Street Journal climate change op-ed published by 16 scientists on January 27.
There aren't many times when the airline industry deserves public sympathy, but the current flap over whether and how to deal with overweight passengers is a no-win situation.
