With the debut of the Kindle Fire HD, the dot-com bubble survivor is working hard to build out its own ecosystem with as little reliance on others as possible.
In this week's test, examiners set ablaze five boxes containing about 250 oxygen canisters swathed in bubble wrapper to determine how long it would take the fire to spread.
Both have been called out for their roles in the housing bubble but their absence during much of the implementation of the financial overhaul will further light a fire under a growing resistance to reform.
