The first incident saw flammable liquid was poured over a car, in the driveway of a house, in Fintry Crescent, Barrhead, at about 22:30 on 10 October.

Police said they were aware the 50-year-old had been socialising in the Dolphin Bar in Fintry on Saturday before moving on to the Balmore Bar and Albert Bar in the Stobswell area, where he remained until closing time.
