Apple has embedded a fiber-optic lighting system to illuminate the keyboard and bolstered it with sensors that can tell when the ambient light in the room begins to dim.
Fiber-optic ambient lighting in the load compartment visually extends the line drawn by the center console all the way from the instrument panel through to the rear seats.
Google (Nasdaq: GOOG) mulled rolling out Voice-over-Internet Protocol, or VoIP, features to its new fiber network, which Google began lighting up last month, said Milo Medin, vice president of Google Access Services.
