The Port of Dover said it was experiencing high volumes of traffic and advised passengers without tickets to contact ferry operators before setting out.
It said there were reports there will be anything from informational picketing on the Golden Gate Bridge to efforts to shut down traffic on the bridge as well as all ferry services, though those possibilities have not been confirmed by the unions themselves.
That shot a torpedo through the budgets for new roads and a better ferry system, and is going to make the Seattle area's traffic jams, already the country's third-worst, even more maddening.
