Parsons was rumored in 2006 to be eyeing a run to be mayor of New York City when Mike Bloomberg would have been facing term limits and required to leave in 2009.
As long as the FCC fails to inject major amounts of spectrum into the marketplace, or strongly hints that future spectrum could be off limits to carriers with specific spectrum portfolios, the agency leaves companies facing capacity shortages in the near term with no solution other than secondary market purchases or to raise retail prices.
Overcoming blindness and dealing with its consequences has taught me about the nature of externally imposed limits, and has encouraged me to think about how to help and support others facing barriers in their lives.
