As part of the setting up process, five faculty and twenty five students of the Center for Communication Studies received basic training in the use of the radio equipment and maintenance of the facility.
"Prior to that incident, the military never directed KBR to repair, upgrade or improve the grounding system in the building in which Maseth resided, nor was KBR directed to perform any preventive maintenance at this facility, " Browne said.
If it has been regularly maintained by a reputable maintenance organization or authorized manufactures service facility, there may be less to be concerned about.
