WestClinTech has built XLeratorDB which can operate refined Excel calculations and a lot of new financial calculations inside SQL Server where they can run up to 100 times faster than Excel and are fully protected by server security.
It can't delete mail from the inbound server, either, but it can display Word and Excel attachments with the help of cut-down versions of the programs included in the package.
