With a present conventional gasoline demand of 2.2 million barrels per day against ethanol production of less than 0.8 million barrels per day, it is puzzling that an ethanolpipeline is being proposed as a means for growing the ethanol market.
While thankfully opening up more federal lands and waters for oil and gas development, expediting drilling permits by transferring approval processes to states, and supporting the Keystone pipeline, it continues to endorse the ethanol mandate debacle.
