Massachusetts state coffers have not been bled to insure self employedpersons, such as Gloucester and New Bedford fishermen, and low income workers unable to afford health insurance.
That got me to thinking: We still have a 9% unemployment rate, which is much, much higher when counting those persons who are involuntarily employed only part-time or who have entirely dropped out of the labor force.
Besides the enjoyment and enhanced personal freedom that comes from being able to read and write, blind persons who use braille are much more likely to be employed.
