The UltraGig 6400 combines the intelligent beam-forming technology of a 60GHz RF transceiver with an embeddedantenna array to enable a secure, high-bandwidth video link to WirelessHD-compliant receivers and displays, thereby eliminating all interference with Wi-Fi-based solutions.
The Archer module consists of the UltraGig 6400 single chip transmitter with its intelligent beam-forming 60GHz RF transceiver, embeddedantenna array, and WirelessHD 1.1 compliant network processor as well as all necessary external components on a single, flex- print cable module.
An antenna, which is 40cm across and 15cm high, is firmly embedded in a 4.5 tonne slab of 300 million year-old sandstone from Yorkshire which in turn is fixed almost three metres into the earth.
