In the first quarter Berkshire bought 7 million shares of Wal-Mart ( WMT), 10 million shares of Wells Fargo ( WFC), 6 million shares of Davita ( DVA) and 10 million shares of GM ( GM).
One of the stocks that bucked the broader market trend today is DaVita HealthCare Partners ( DVA), which eked out a tiny gain on a day that the Dow Jones Industrial Average lost more than 300 points.
