The standards are high and kept high, the teachers are more 'old school' with proper discipline standards and teacher-pupil relationships rather than pally-pally garbage.
Setting out his schools White Paper to MPs on 24 November 2010, Mr Gove said plans to reform teacher training, boost discipline in schools and rewrite the National Curriculum would "provide the opportunity to become the world's leading education nation".
The Conservatives have reiterated their plan to make every school a "free school", run entirely by its head teacher and governors and setting its own admissions, discipline, uniforms and pay policies.
