Digital cinema camera shooting has been gaining momentum, and digital editing that heavily uses CG composition and VFX processing has now become common in motion picture production.
In addition to six performances at NYSCI, Maker Space was the site of a three-week education program that introduced 60 Queens middle-schoolers to the fundamentals of music composition through the use of iPads, Lemurs and other digital music-making tools.
The layout is rife with historical references (Saxon watchmaking, early digital timekeepers and classic pocket watch design) but wrought into a very modern composition.
