Andersen has long-admitted that it shred and deleted a large number of Enron-related documents even after it knew that the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission had served Enron a subpoena requesting documents.
The original idea was that the UN would keep the documents under wraps until sensitive information which could be used to help build weapons of mass destruction was deleted.
