The GTF will power Mitsubishi's new regional jet, as well as Bombardier's new CSeries, a 110-130 seat (and potentially 150 seat) medium-range aircraft that has 90 firm orders, the latest coming from Republic Airways last month.

So does Bombardier: the aircraft it would like to sell to Felix, and to airlines the world over, is the CSeries (pictured), a larger medium-haul jet that will take the planemaker into a bigger and potentially more profitable market, putting it in direct competition with Boeing and Airbus.

First up, Cseries and Xseries are said to be presented at the show, with the first Xseries model being an upgraded version of the just-launched 5530 XpressMusic with 3G thrown in, probably spelling doom for the 5800 -- in other words, Xseries is very likely a wholesale rebranding of the XpressMusic line, which totally makes sense.
