While many of those working in videogames come into the office boasting advanced degrees in computerscience and fine art, a game tester can walk in with just a passion for playing games.
One of the common complaints within the game industry is that not enough women study computerscience, and thus the recruiting pool is simply not there, making it impossible to have more than a few female developers to every herd of men.
To help keep their future technology industries in the game, schools in the United States and India for example are already introducing computerscience at early ages at school.
