The new regionalism isn't a return to an area's most familiar architecture: It doesn't mean building Colonials in Connecticut or ranch houses in California.
And although they recently bought in Los Angeles, it appears they stuck with the East Coast aesthetic, buying a gracious estate in Brentwood, foregoing the Spanish-Colonials and Mid-Century mods prevalent in the area.
