Porsche (PAH3:Xetra) has announced a recall of 1, 232 2012 model-year 911 CarreraS coupes for possible interference between a coolant line and fuel line may cause the latter to become disconnected.
Here's an off-the-rack sports car with lateral adhesion in the range of 1 g, a car that hits 60 mph in 4 seconds (the 394-horsepower CarreraS with the dual-clutch PDK gearbox), a car that trips the trap lights in about 12 seconds and decelerates from 60 mph to 0 in about 100 feet.
That's a weight-to-power ratio of 8.21 pounds per horsepower (a little better than the Porsche 911 Carrera's) in a footprint the size of a Porsche Boxster.
During a similar incident at Brockenhurst railway station, on 5 December, a man was forced into his Porsche 911 Carrera at gunpoint and made to drive to the town's HSBC bank where he was made to withdraw a large quantity of money.
The Welsh region will face different Italian opponents this term, with Carrera Petrarca, Benetton Treviso, Cammi Calvisano and Arix Viadana involved in the Italian league's top four play-off.
