All those numbers should give us a rough idea of how many converters Apple is going to sell to connect the Lightning Dock enabled iPhone 5 with the old 30 pin Dock found on every charger, cable, and accessory.
There are two exposed metal connectors, used to pair up with the proprietary magnetic USB charging cable (the only accessory that ships in the box), but the housing appears to be properly sealed.
