Brown noted that he had requested his staff at the Bureauof Export Administration to come up with strategies to change the "perception" that Commerce was playing a "secondary role" to the Departments of State and Defense on export controls.
Prof Nutbrown's comments come as the National Children's Bureau (NCB) charity releases the findings of a snapshot survey suggesting an overwhelming rejection of the ratio-change plans from the early years sector.
