Outside the villa, the main piazza of Castel Gandolfo was packed Saturday with well-wishers hoping to catch a glimpse of history: two popes breakingbread together and presumably discussing the future of the Catholic Church.
The source of engagement has nothing to do with breakingbread (or bread sticks) and everything to do with the extent to which trust, values and mission actually inspire and drive daily activities and interactions.
