Public Citizen has done an admirable job lately of breaking up collusive settlements where plaintiff lawyers get together with defendants and craft deals that benefit themselves and no one else.
Presumably in conjunction with sinking LCD prices and staggeringly great deals offered on Black Friday, the NPD Group is reporting record-breaking sales jumps.
