The first car that officially rolled off the assembly line in Chongqing with a big bow on the hood and under a sea of confetti was a red Focus, which competes with a slew of inexpensive domestic models, such as those from Geely.
The crew lifted another portion of the line on deck and, this time, brought it to an eyelet at the bow, through which it could be threaded and brought on board with minimum danger to the propellers.
