The complaints came after a 27-year-old American woman relayed her experiences, on her BirdAbroad blog, about visiting three of the four near-perfect fake outlets, which had been opened by a company based in Shenzhen.
So has Karl Haro von Mogel, a 27-year-old plant sciences graduate student at the University of Wisconsin at Madison, whose blog promotes the technology.
