Binyam Mohamed's allegation that British agents fed questions to his interrogators who ill-treated him in Morocco and elsewhere is under investigation.
But lawyers for the men - Bisher al-Rawi, Jamil el Banna, Richard Belmar, Omar Deghayes, Binyam Mohamed and Mr Mubanga - say they will resist settlement talks until they discover more of what the government knew.
One of the cases is that of Binyam Mohamed, an Ethiopian who was arrested in Pakistan in 2002 and accused by the US of taking part in a so-called "dirty bomb" plot after being at a camp visited by Osama bin Laden.
