There seem to be two schools of thought around Epic: one (recently discussed here by Bessemer VCs Kraus and Bhattacharyya) suggests essentially that the battle may be over, Epic seems to have won, and the smart money should go to companies that position themselves under, around, or on top of the Epic platform or (on the service side) who consult on Epic-related issues.
