This group of about 20 privileged youngmen thirsted for speed, adventure, beautiful girls, horse racing and all things decadent that came at a high price tag in 1920.
As everyone who was here remembers it was an incongruously beautiful September morning and the lawns which surround the Pentagon were already crowded with youngmen and women.
