On Monday Health Secretary Alan Johnson said Mr Brown had had nothing to do with the e-mails and could not be held responsiblefor the actions of every person who worked for him.
Of course they had e-petitions foisted on them by the government, which simply announced that they would henceforth beresponsiblefor finding the time for them to be debated.
