The Shanghai AllOrdinaries Index, a composite of A- and B-shares that are designated for domestic and foreign traders respectively, rose nearly 70% in the period.
Mr Aisbitt noted that Australia's AllOrdinaries Index has varied by 14.6% in the last 30 days, from an average 30-day variation during the last year of 15.5%.
