The teams run their cars here with less aerodynamicdownforce than at any other circuit and finding the right balance between straight line speed and cornering is key.
The Technical Working Group came up with a change which they believe will slow the cars by 1.5 to two seconds per lap by reducing the effectiveness of the rear of the cars in producing aerodynamicdownforce.
Hamilton will continue to run with an aerodynamic package suited to Monza's low-downforce circuit, which includes a rear wing with a lower angle of attack - approximately 40 degrees compared to Button's conventional rear wing, which is raised at around 70 degrees.
