The Democratic senators vowed at a news conference Thursday to use "all of our procedural and parliamentary options" beginning with a challenge to the usually routine vote to adjourn for the Easter-Passover recess.
The application is due to be heard on 19 December by the Chief Justice Lord Judge and two other judges in London - subject to any applications by "interested parties" to adjourn.
Given that Congress is scheduled to adjourn on October 9th, and that the House Judiciary Committee will want to do some investigating and witness-calling of its own, clearly no impeachment inquiry will be started until after the November elections.
